Began active career in general merchandise business, Sept., 1879, and in addition to a large establishment at Royalton, has a potato house, and is interested in farming. Now serving third term as member Minnesota State Legislature; also president Royalton School Board for ten years. Republican. Member I.O.O.F., A.O.U.W., Knights of Pythias, B.P.O.E.
