Sauk Rapids Sentinel: The work on Buckman & Coates’ new saw mill at this place is progressing very favorably, and the frame work of the building is to be erected to-morrow. The main building is to be 30x80 feet in size, and will be constructed in a very substantial manner. The interior arrangements will all be put in under directions of Mr. Yerxa, from plans drawn by him. Sauk Rapids Sentinel: A serious accident occurred below St. Cloud last Thursday. We have not been able to gain the particulars, but are informed that two boys of Mr. A. A. Hart, of the town of Maywood, this county, were handling a revolver, which was supposed to be unloaded, but which proved to be otherwise. The weapon was discharged, and the ball entered the knee of the elder of the two boys, inflicting a very serious wound. An examination after the accident showed that there were still several loaded cartridges in the revolver. Little Falls Transcript (Little Falls, MN) Friday, 8 May 1885, page 5 |
