Engine and Hand Car Collided.

ST CLOUD, Minn., April 21.—A party of five young men, all employes of Foley Bros., at Foley, left on a hand car at 8:45 to attend a dance at Bridgeman, 12 miles distant. The car was crashed into by a light locomotive coming from Superior, which was backing, and, owing to the noise, was not discovered. Four of the party jumped and escaped with slight injury. W. E. Hall, a nephew of the Foleys was very badly hurt.
