A farmer’s mutual fire insurance company was organized at Glendorado last Tuesday with fifty incorporators. The territory covered by this company takes in twenty townships of Benton, Sherburne and Mille Lacs counties and from all appearances will do a good business from the start. The company will be known as the Glendorado Farmers’ Mutual Fire Insurance company, of which Svend Kittleson is president and Louis Rochefort is secretary. The business is in the hands of a board of nine directors and this board will also elect a treasurer at its next meeting, the company is duly informed under the laws of the State of Minnesota.
