SAUK RAPIDS, Feb. 13.—(Special.)—John Lyon, aged sixty-five years, died at Ronneby of pneumonia.

John Knafla, aged fifty-six years, died at his home in Gilman, this county. Deceased had been confined to his bed eight years. He leaves a wife and four children.

John Dehler, an old settler of '57, died at his home on the west side. He was highly respected, and leaves a large family of grown-up children.

At Foley, this county, the Independent issued its first number Friday.
